One of the four teenagers who was believed to be involved in the shooting death of a 16-year old girl on a Sacramento area bike trail a few days ago was wearing a GPS monitor due to three pending juvenile court cases.
To my vast surprise the juvenile court judge ordered him held in custody this time around.
Locking up predatory thugs limits their ability to harm law abiding citizens. It's just that simple.
