So,
we move on from meaningless political blather to the really important
shit on the world stage, like who the next James Bond is going to be.
Allegedly now they have decided on Lashana Lynch, the Black female from
Captain Marvel.
In an
interview with Harper's Bazaar U. K. she talked about working with the
producer Barbara Broccoli, the director Cary Joi Fukunaga and the writer
Phoebe Waller-Bridge to polish and improve all of the female characters
in the film, to get rid of the "toxic masculinity" of the prior
films.
OK, I will
probably watch it anyway, but if she truly thinks that was the driving
force of the character she clearly doesn't understand the concept.
Toxic Masculinity? I've really don't know what that is and I've been to multiple rodeos.
ReplyDeleteYou just aren't woke enough yet Trey. Have some green tea, a nice spinach quiche and chill out.
ReplyDeleteBy 'Toxic Masculinity' they must mean the sickening (to feminists) display of men seeing women as sex objects, which James Bond did.
