376 OFFICERS STANDING AOUND WHILE MULTIPLE GUNSHOTS RANG OUT ..... NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT'S FINEST MOMENT

Families of Uvalde shooting victims sue Texas DPS officers for waiting to confront gunman

In a separate settlement, the city of Uvalde will pay $2 million to the families, create a permanent memorial to the victims and provide enhanced training for police officers.

  1. I doubt the suit is winnable. Not that it shouldn't be, just that it is.

    1. I agree, the only parents that may have a case are the ones the police actively stopped from trying to help their kids.

  2. Remind me again BGB how police officers are going to protect me.

  3. Gary, I must admit that on May 24, 2022 they would not have been able to protect you. They were all standing around at Robb Elementary School.

It was a sad day for law enforcement. I'm especially disappointed in the number of DPS Troopers that didn't enter the school immediately upon arrival. I thought the DPS Director Steve McCraw told folks that if any of his Troopers were found to be at fault for their lack of participation at this incident, he would resign immediately. Well? I'm waiting Steve. In my opinion that makes Director Steve McCraw a liar overseeing a bunch of cowards. This was a cluster f*ck of major proportions. (USA)
