WHAT TIME IS IT ... ON THE MOON ?

By Bob Walsh

View of planet Earth from the Moon's surface.

NASA scientists are getting together a working group of scientists from hither and yon to establish a standard Lunar time zone.  Apparently this is vitally important for the future of human activity on the moon.  I am not sure why, but I am not a lunar scientist so they could very well be right.  I guess many computer systems are much happier when they know local time.

This time zone may lead to Lunar Tick Tocks. (USA)
