SLEAZE-BAG EX-CHP DEPUTY CHIEF WANTS HIS FULL PENSION

And He May Get It

Kyle Scarber is a sleaze. He assisted his rugrat in fleeing to Mexico after a rape allegation. He pleaded NOLO to felony conspiracy back in 2018. As a result CalPERS made a modest reduction in his pension, which would otherwise have been about $125,000. He has appealed that decision.

The CHP tried to fire him, but eventually let him resign. He set up a fake crime scene at his house to cover for the kid's flight to Mexico. He has since been found and arrested and is doing 35 years.

Scarber is apparently/allegedly suffering from "Chief's Disease." This is a general, sort of fuzzy disease that seems to hit pretty much every high ranking CHP staffer who retires, and let's them get a TAX-FREE disability pension.

CalPERS initially rejected the disability application, stating he left his job due to misconduct. Later the board changed its mind because the CHP let him walk away rather than firing his happy as. Last year his felony was reduced to a misdemeanor so now he wants his FULL pension.

I wonder how much pension the housekeeper his son raped is getting?
