total of 19 protesters who chained themselves to the state capital were
arrested yesterday. They were protesting commercial meat production in
the formerly great state of California. You can riot, hurt people,
burn down and loot stores and walk away clean but if you chain yourself
to the state capital building you piss off the legislators, who don't
like the great unwashed getting too close to them.
Makes sense, if you live in California.
