In
four weeks the voters of America, many of who are actual citizens and
legally entitled to vote, will decide the direction this country is
taking for the foreseeable future. We are not talking 4 degrees left or
right, we are talking more or less straight ahead versus a hard left
turn.
Right now we have a
very open, relatively free and prosperous country. We listen to pretty
much any point of view, and tolerate pretty much any point of view.
People break the law to get here. People risk their lives to get here,
because here is so much better than whereeverthehell they were before.
You
can say pretty much whatever you want. For now at least. As long as
it doesn't make BLM or AntiFa angry. You can hang out with pretty much
whoever you want, as long as you are not on active parole. You are
permitted to worship Allah, or Yaweh, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster
and the government mostly leaves you alone. You are permitted to arm
yourself in order to effectively defend yourself. You are permitted to
stand in the public square, point at a government building and scream
BULLSHIT to your heart's content.
If
the Harris-Biden wing of the Democrat-Socialist party wins the election
that may not continue. Opposition to BLM or Anti-Fa may become hate
speech and may get your prosecuted. Opposition to the 1619 project may
get you cancelled or shunned. Possession of a weapon may be illegal,
except for the minions of the government and their friends. (Remember,
Heller was decided by a 5-4 vote. One vote the other way would have
meant that the Second Amendment was legally considered to be a
collective right regulated by the government, not an individual right
held by the people.)
How
would you like have to roll down your window and scream Breonna Taylor
or Stevante Clark three times at the top of your lungs and pay a "fee"
to a BLM roadblock in order to drive down a public road? You think I'm
joking or making this up?
Would
you like to have totally open borders combined with government paid
health care (meaning taxpayer paid health care) for every warm body that
can drag themselves across our borders? Harris-Sanders-Biden-Cortez
not only want this to happen but SAY they want this to happen.
Would
you like to have your right to own a gun vanish? Joe Biden wants
exactly that, witness his designation of Robert Francis O'Rourke as his
Second Amendment go-to guy. Beto has said he wants to come for your
guns. Do you think he is kidding?
How
would you like illegal aliens (aka Undocumented Democrats) to be
granted instant amnesty and voting rights? Strike you as a great idea.
Vote for Harris-Biden.
Would
you like DC and Puerto Rico to become states, with full representation
in the House and the Senate? Sound marvelous? Vote for the
Democrat-Socialist ticket.
Decisions
are made by people who show up. Good decisions are made by people who
show up and who are not fucking morons. Think. Then vote.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Right now it looks more and more like God knows it will be a victory for Biden-Harris.
The Goebbels Principle is at work here. There has been so much malicious bad press about Trump that people are bound to have come to believe it.
And the younger college educated generations have been indoctrinated into favoring socialism.
Trump has fallen on his sword so many times that all the good he has accomplished will be all for naught.
There are just not enough diehard Trump supporters to get him elected.
Unless there will be a spectacular October surprise favoring Trump within the next few days, God knows that the White Obama will be our next president.
And God forbid if the Democrats take the senate too.
Howie, both you and I thought it was likely the Hildebeast would win four years ago. We were both wrong, the closet Trump vote carried the day. It may do so again. The BLM and AntiFa psychopaths may have done little more than driven the reasonable people underground. Maybe. We will see in four weeks. Or maybe five or six or seven or eight or nine.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever want to have a shitty moment filled with negativity just read the Editors Note on BGB. I still look at it every now and then and like today I almost always regret it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful day outside. I think I'll sit on the patio with the dogs and drink iced tea.
