Because Traffic Stops "Sometimes End In Violence"
by Bob Walsh
Letitia
James is the Attorney General of the State of New York. She sometimes
acts as a special prosecutor to investigate police shootings. She has
just offered the opinion that the NYPD should stop making traffic stops
because they sometimes end in violence.
Do
not felony arrests sometimes end in violence? Does that mean they
should stop making felony arrests too. For that matter pretty much ANY
encounter between ANY two people MIGHT end in violence.
This
woman is clearly an idiot and is clearly pursuing a personal political
agenda that has nothing to do with her actual elected position. Not
that anybody in New York City is likely to care, except for cops and
crime victims, but who gives a shit about them?
