PELOSI IN ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO REMOVE TRUMP FROM OFFICE

Nancy Pelosi says Congress will discuss using 25th Amendment powers which could REMOVE Donald Trump amid fears COVID steroid treatment is affecting his mental health

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would lead a discussion on Friday about invoking the 25th amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office amid fears the medication he is taking for his COVID treatment are affecting his mental health. 

'Come here tomorrow,' she told reporters on Capitol Hill Thursday. 'We're going to be talking about the 25th Amendment.' 

She refused to give any more details - a move that will likely stoke speculation and build suspense over the next 24 hours. 

'I'll talk to you about that tomorrow,' she said when asked about it. 'I'll talk to you about it tomorrow. I'm not talking about it today except to tell you if you want to talk about that I'll see you tomorrow.' 

Pelosi spoke after Trump was interviewed on Fox Business Network in a frenzied almost hour-long interview where he suggested Gold Star families may have infected him with COVID, claimed again he was 'cured,' equivocated over whether he is still on powerful steroids, demanded AG Bill Barr indict Joe Biden and Barack Obama and twice called Kamala Harris a 'monster.' 

Pelosi indicated, however, it was related to concerns about the steroid Trump is taking. 

Some doctors have raised concerns about dexamethasone, which can cause insomnia, mania, mood swings, and rage. It has shown promise for treating patients with a severe case of COVID who are getting supplemental oxygen. 

 EDITOR'S NOTE: That interview with Fox Business Network does sort of sound like Trump is coming unhinged.  But when he blamed gold star families for catching COVID-19 he was talking about a September 27 indoor White House event for the families of soldiers killed in battle that was packed with no social distancing and few masks.  However, his barrage of tweets lashing out at almost everything and everybody following his release from Walter Reed do make it look like he has lost his mind.

I really wonder how much Nancy Pelosi REALLY thinks they are going to beat Donald Trump.  Yesterday she gave a "teaser" statement to the news media broadly implying that congress (i.e. the Democrat-Socialist controlled House) is going to launch some of of half-assed investigation-fitness review of Donald Trump's ability to carry out his duties.  

It will be interesting to see how much that comes back to bite them on the ass.
