RED BILL DE BLASIO THINKS HE HAS AUTHORITY OVER THE UNITED NATIONS MEMBERS

A couple of days ago New York city mayor Red Bill De Blasio announced that the members of the United Nations General Assembly are required to have Covid-19 vaccinations.  

Now I confess I do not know what sort of legal authority New York City has over the grounds of the United Nations building but I am pretty sure the members of the General Assembly and real sure the heads of state that will be appearing there soon have diplomatic immunity.  They are not required to obey petty edicts issued by De Blasio in his tin-pot dictator mode.  I wonder what sort of back and forth has gone on between De Blasio and the State Department over the issue?
