Montgomery
County Alabama Sheriff's Deputy Cedric Law, 26, a 2-year veteran of the
force, was shot Friday five times, by his father.
Deputy
Law was riding in a car with his brother and their mother at about 3
p.m.  She had just been involved in a "domestic situation" at her
residence with the deputy's father.  The three were driving towards the
court to get a protection order when daddy rammed their vehicle, and
then got out carrying a gun.  Deputy Law bailed out and told his brother
and mom to drive away and attempted to engage with his father.  That
didn't work too well and daddy started shooting.
Deputy
Law caught five rounds and is in the hospital in critical-stable
condition.  His father caught multiple rounds and is doing the dirt
dance.
