WHAT IS THE POINT OF ELECTED OFFICE IF YOU CAN'T TAKE CARE OF YOUR HOMIES ?

Pamela Price is the District Attorney of Alameda County, CA.  She has had the gig for about six months.  As far as people can tell she spends most of her time figuring out how to NOT prosecute criminals.

It has just been revealed that she hired her boyfriend, at $115,000 per year, to run a project within her office to find people already convicted and in custody and help figure out a way to get them out of custody.  She didn't bother to report this domestic situation to the people who it should be reported to.

The boyfriend, Antwon Cloird, isn't exactly Mr. Clean.  He was investigated by the FBI (but never charged) about eight years ago for participation in a shakedown of private companies form his position as a "well connected non-profit executive."  

Among Ms. Price's prosecutorial largess has been the refusal to prosecute as an adult a 17-year old who was directly involved in 3 murders and as group of gang members who killed an infant in a rolling gun battle.

She acknowledges that her policies are an attempt to have violent criminals serve as little time as possible, including no time, in jails and prisons.  She continues to assert that her policies have NO negative effect on the crime rate.
