The people who claim to know
about such things (and maybe really do) assert that the 2024
presidential election will be won or lost in Nevada, Georgia, Arizona,
Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
As of right now Trump is ahead of Biden in all of those states save for Wisconsin.
I
realize that this early in the game polling is not terribly meaningful,
but it can tell in a general way which direction the wind is blowing.
It is blowing poorly for Prehistoric Joe Biden just now. Trump could
actually win this thing.
We
are very much approaching the point where a serious primary challenge
to Biden, if one is indeed mounted, will have to be mounted SOON.
Right
now it is (IMHO) the case that Joe actually thinks he is doing a fine
job, will be able to put in another four years and then pass the baton
to the eminently capable will-be first female Black president of the
United States, Kamala Harris. (Pardon me will I clean the puke off of
my keyboard.) I don't believe the movers and shakers within the DNC
will, at this stage of the game, be able to ease Joe out. He does not
WANT to go. He thinks he is still doing a good job because the retards
he has working for him tell him that. Also there is a very practical
consideration. It is possible that, if he loses his gig in 2024 and
does NOT write a blanket pardon for himself and his family members that
he is in serious legal (and financial) peril.
Damn, politics can be fun to watch.
