DRIZLY TO SHUT DOWN

By Bob Walsh

Uber agrees to buy alcohol delivery service Drizly for $1.1 billion

Drizly, the alcohol delivery service purchased by Uber about 3 years ago for $1.1 billion, is being shut down.  In some areas a lot of liquor stores do a lot of business thru Drizly.  Uber will continue to delivery booze thru Uber Eats.

So you will be OK Howie, you can still get Jaeger and Green Death delivered.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Thanks Bob. And I can get O'Mara's Country Cream too.

I'll never forget when Texas made it illegal to drink and drive in 1982. During the same legislative session passed a bill allowing liquor stores to sell single beers. FYI, All liquor stores can deliver in Texas.
