Ed Markey is a senator from Massachusetts, he is therefore a
serious socialist. He has just introduced S.3589 which would, if
passed into law, effectively disarm much of the United States general
population.
The name of
this crap is "Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act of 2024." It
would amend Title 18 of the U. S. Code. Under this act a Private
Paramilitary Organization is "any group of 3 or more persons associating
under a command structure for the purpose of functioning in public or
training to function in public as a combat, combat support, law
enforcement or security services unit."
Do
you belong to a gun club? A loose association of guys who go out after
elk or deer as a group once a year? A competitive shooting club
maybe?
Depending on who
is interpreting what you are doing you might very well be in violation
of law merely for being part of an association. A few people who maybe
have CCW permits who get together to talk politics. Do you think that
this piece of shit from MA is going to like that? Do you think him and
his buddies will object, with the force of law, if they think they can?
