Debra Rush is a well-known figure in the opposition to
human trafficking. Her daughter, Kendra Reana McIntyre, 20, was shot to
death in South L. A. on March 21st. She was walking in a neighborhood
that is well-known for the presence of sex workers. McIntyre had
herself been a victim of sex trafficking.
The
L A District Attorney has just announced a 14-year old female has been
taken into custody and has been charged with the murder of McIntyre.
She has not yet been identified to the public. Since the
radical-liberal district attorney has announced that he will NEVER seek
to prosecute a 14-year old as an adult for any crime under any
circumstances it is unlikely the suspect, even if convicted, will incure
any significant criminal penalty.
