ANTI-ISRAEL PROTESTER BEING PROSECUTED FOR DEATH OF COUNTER-PROTESTER

By Bob Walsh

Police speak to a man sitting in front of a Shell gas station sign on a city sidewalk as demonstrators in the background wave Palestinian flags.Moorpark College professor Loay Abdelfattah Ainaji sits by Shell sign while first responders and bystander attend to Paul Kessler

Loay Abdelfattah Ainaji, 51, was, and maybe still is, a professor of computer science at Moorpark College in SoCal.  He is a strident pro-Palestinian.

He is actually being prosecuted for the death of Paul Kessler, 69.  Kessler was a counter-protestor in Ventura County last year.  Ainaji smashed Kessler in the head with a megaphone in Thousand Oaks in Ventura County during a "demonstration."  Kessler fell backwards after he was struck, injuring his skull.  He died as a direct result of that injury.

Ainaji is being prosecuted for battery and involuntary manslaughter. Strangely almost all of his anti-Israeli posts disappeared from social media directly after Kessler's death.  Ainaji is currently free on $500,000 bail.  He could get four years as a guest of the people if found guilty.
