The victims in this mess were Ashley Bush and her unborn daughter Valkyrie Willis.  The bad guys are Amber Waterman, 44, and Waterman's husband, Jaime.  This one is a bit strange as there is both a federal prosecution and a state prosecution.  
 
The theory of the crime, which occurred on Halloween of 2022,  is that Amber Waterman lured Ms. Bush with a job interview.  In fact Waterman wanted Bush's still unborn child and had no problem with murdering her to get the child.  In actual practice she fucked it up and both Bush and the baby died.  The federal charges come from kidnapping resulting in death, which carries a mandatory sentence of life without parole.  Waterman attempted a very amateurish surgical delivery of the fetus resulting in the death of the mother and the fetus both.
 
Waterman is also being prosecuted by Benton County, Arkansas, for capital murder and kidnapping and they want to skrag her very badly.  They are a bit pissed in that the feds have been keeping her out of their reach during their prosecution.  
 
Sentencing is schedule for Ms. Waterman in October.  She has admitted to the crimes.  Then the state will get their shot at her.
 
Her husband Jaimie is being prosecuted by the feds as an accessory after the fact.  His trial has not yet begun.
