In
December of 2021 the music director of the Hodges Boulevard
Presbyterian Church in Callahan, Florida, was having a bad day. He
expressed his situation by murdering his wife and two adult children.
He then called the cops and told them he had just murdered his family.
He then exited the home and waited in the driveway for the local
constabulary to show up. He was arrested without incident.
Interestingly enough the family had zero prior contact with the cops. No issues of any kind.
Yesterday
William C. Broyles, the murderer, was sentenced to LWOP following his
guilty plea to three counts of first degree murder.
It is still not clear (at least officially) what drove him off the rails.
