My grandson was ready to join the Coast Guard in 2023. He aced the testing and was put on hold by the Biden Administration for IMHO, being a white male, Christian. His recruiter kept telling him that he was in but never called back. He had attended San Jacinto College and when he didn't hear from them he went to work at a plant. He's now a pipeline inspection specialist making good money with benefits and is thinking of buying a home. After what we have been through, I'm kind of glad he decided not to pursue stint in the Coast Guard.
