President Biden is said to be actively working to prevent a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah and offering Israel significant support, including top secret intelligence to help pinpoint the exact location location of Hamas leaders and tunnels.
The U.S. is also offering help to create shelters and deliver essential supplies like food, water, and medicine for Palestinians evacuated from Rafah.
The goal is to persuade Israel to conduct a more limited operation in Rafah and avoid widespread destruction and harm to civilians.
