THE PERILS OF JUST HANGING OUT

by Bob Walsh

Two guys sitting in two separate cars parked along old Charter Way, Now MLK Blvd, in south Stockton, were collateral damage on Saturday night.

The two men were both shot when two groups of people started throwing lead at each other a tad after 9 p.m.  Neither man, one 52 and one 63, has life-threatening injuries.  The intended target was apparently not injured.

In another piece of typical Stockton new a woman walking near her car near a large homeless camp in Mormon Slough near Airport Way was carjacked around noon on Saturday.  The suspects, one man and three women, did get away with her car.
