There is a smallish gun show several times a year at the
Stanislaus County fairgrounds in sunny CA. As usual such shows run
Saturday and Sunday. The tables are not typically broken down over
night and the building is supervised by security guards. Unarmed
security guards.
Early
Sunday morning two masked, armed men entered the building thru a
bathroom window which had probably been left opened by one of them
during the show on Saturday. They ran off the two unarmed guards,
grabbed 33 firearms and beat feet.
The
cops found a ski mask and one gun in a canal nearby shortly after the
incident. They are testing the ski mask for DNA. The stolen firearms
have already been entered into the system which will pretty much destroy
their value in the legit market. Of course it is completely likely
that people who steal guns are unlikely to try to sell them
legitimately. Go figure.
