By a vote of 221-212 the House of Representatives voted
to formalize the inquiry into impeachment of Joe Biden. This gives some
gravitas, and more importantly some actual power, to the inquiry. They
can now do things like subpoena financial records which they could not
do before. It will take some time and some actual digging but it is at
least theoretically possible that "they" will now be able to find the
smoking cancelled checks, assuming such things actually exist.
There
is no doubt in my mind that the Biden family has been influence
peddling for years and that the " Big Guy" was at a minimum getting a
rake-off. It is however questionable that it can be proven. They do
now have about ten months to make a go of it. The chances that Hunter,
or even Joe, will ever spend a day in the slammer are pretty much zero.
If things become dicey Joe will just pardon every member of his family,
including himself, and head for the hills. That doesn't mean we won't
find out what happened. But it does mean they will almost certainly get
away with "it", whatever "it" turns out to be.
