There was a mass shooting in Sweden yesterday.  The biggest body count in the modern history of the country.  Ten dead and others wounded.  Even King Carl XVI Gustav and Queen Silvia came to the site to pay their respects and express their horror at the situation.

The site of the shooting was the Risberska Adult Education Center in the city of Orro.  The police now believe the shooter probably acted alone.  They believe he self-rehabilitated and was described as a loner.  Interestingly enough they have thus far declined to identify him.  I think that is strange.

Maybe it is just me but I have the feeling that if his name was something along the lines of Olaf Swenson we would probably have that name now.  Since one of the main things the school does is teach Swedish to immigrants I am guessing it is more likely the shooter's name is something like Mohammed Hussein.  It is completely possible I am wrong.  I would like to be wrong.  I just think the lack of info is significant.
