A swarm of federal agents apprehended only one man. He was peddling strawberries near the building where Newsom was speaking.
Back on July 11 U. S. District Court Judge for the Los
Angeles District, Maame Ewusi Mensah Frimpong, put out a ruling that
greatly restricted the ability of ICE to operate in So Cal. Basically
the ruling said that ICE can't go after people just because of their
apparent ethnicity, spoken language or job choices.
Today SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in an unsigned opinion that Judge Frimpong was full of shit.
The liberal wing of the court, led by Sonia Sotomayor, screamed like mashed cats. Fuck them.
