Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has said his country will stand by Doha with 'all its means' following a phone call with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The President's office said: 'President Erdogan stated that he condemns Israel's attack, which aims to deepen the conflict, tension and instability in the region and constitutes a flagrant violation of the friendly and allied Qatar's sovereignty.
'Extending his condolences for those martyred in the nefarious attack, President Erdohan stressed that Turkey stands by the state and people of Qatar with all its means.
'The two leaders agreed to continue working together for the immediate termination of the massacre in Gaza.'
Turkey has denounced Israel's airstrikes on Doha today.
The country's foreign ministry says the latest attacks show the Middle Eastern nation had adopted 'expansionist politics in the region and terrorism' as policy.
'The targeting of the Hamas negotiating delegation while ceasefire talks continue shows that Israel does not aim to reach peace, but rather continue the war,' the ministry said in a statement.
'This situation is clear proof that Israel has adopted its expansionist politics in the region and terrorism as a state policy.'
