A TRUE HERO: AHMED AL-AHMED, AN AUSTRALIAN MUSLIM, RISKED HIS LIFE TO SAVE THE LIVES OF JEWS

43-year-old Ahmed al-Ahmed, the father-of-two and a fruit shop owner, was shot in the arm and hand while disarming one of the two terrorists on Bondi Beach.

On Sunday evening, two armed terrorists opened fire on a Bondi Beach gathering of Jews celebrating the first day of Chanukah. The gunmen, a father and his son, killed at least 16 of the celebrants and wounded 40 others.

While the shooting was in progress, 43-year-old Ahmed al-Ahmed, the father-of-two and a fruit shop owner, jumped on one of the terrorist and managed to wrestle the gun from him. He was shot in the arm and hand while disarming the gunman..

Al-Ahmed risked his life to save the lives of Jews. Many more might have been killed or wounded were it not for this very brave man. And al-Ahmed is a Muslim.
