HOW ABOUT BOTH EYEBALLS?

Here are some excerpts from a CNN report:

EXECUTION PROBLMS PROMPT ONE-WEEK REPRIEVE FOR OHIO INMATE

CNN

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland on Tuesday gave a death-row inmate a one-week reprieve after authorities tried for hours to find a vein to administer his lethal injection.

"Difficulties in administering the execution protocol necessitate a temporary reprieve," said Strickland's Warrant of Reprieve, filed in court Tuesday afternoon in the case of inmate Romell Broom.

Strickland's document directs the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to carry out Broom's execution on September 22, "unless further reprieve or clemency is granted."

Broom, 52, was convicted of murdering [and raping] a 14-year-old girl in Cleveland in 1984, according to a death clemency report.

Actually, I don't know if he is or not. I do know that Ohio tried to croak a child killer today and the Governor had to give him a one week reprieve because, after two hours, they couldn't find a vein on the asshole to hook in to.

They should have just jabbed the needle through his eyeball and pumped the juice in.

EDITOR’S NOTE: What frosts me is that the courts are so concerned about the cruel and unusual punishment of scumbag murderers that the cruel and unusual treatment perpetrated on their victims counts for nothing.

I say bring back the electric chair! Frying them in Old Sparky is much more befitting than putting them to sleep like a beloved pet dog.
