Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced today that there have been 500 homicides in Chicago, a 17 percent increase over last year. And the year isn’t over yet.
Perhaps if Emanuel had put 100 percent of his effort into fighting his city’s murder rate instead of taking time out to attack Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu on behalf of his former boss, President Obama, the increase in homicides would have been somewhat less.
As the president’s surrogate in the Obama administration’s efforts to see Netanyahu ousted from office, Mayor Emanuel is obviously better at attacking the Israeli prime minister than attacking his city’s gang war.

Gotta be wrong on those stats Howie. Chiacago has gun control, so it has to be safe, unless those murders are all being committed with baseball bats and 9 irons.
