The first lawsuit has been filed in the Las Vegas shooting. It names the hotel as well as the shooter (he was moderately wealthy) as the MGM corporation has very deep pockets and good insurance. How much of this being their fault is up for consideration. There will certainly be more filed.

I predict MGM will pay a huge amount and a lot of lawyers will be made whole.
