Three people have been arrested after a Molotov cocktail attack on a synagogue in Sweden, according to local reports.

About two dozen people were attending a party inside the synagogue in Gothenburg on Saturday night when suspects threw burning bottles against the building, police told the Goteborgs-Posten.

The kids inside took refuge in the basement, according to a mother who spoke to Expressen. Her daughter was in the building and texted her during the incident.

“Mom I’m getting scared,” she wrote.

Authorities arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. and put out a fire in the parking lot. The building did not catch on fire and no one was injured.

Three people were arrested Sunday in connection to the attack, according to police chief Peter Nordengard.

It remains unclear just how many people were involved in the attack, cops said.

Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city, is about 175 miles north of Copenhagen, Denmark.
