Arkansas parents are set to be charged after they enlisted the help of their three children to steal jewelry from a store northwest of Little Rock Wednesday.

Authorities reveal at least $30,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from Bella Jeweler's in Rogers.

The couple were caught on a surveillance video urging their young children to break into a case at the shop.

The director of Bella Jewelers was devastated at the situation saying 'it's a real tragedy that they would use their kids to commit this crime,' according to Fox.

'For us, that's the most heartbreaking part,' she continued.

In the video, that the store has released, the woman is seen pointing at items in the display case that her young son allegedly steals from later on.

'The woman kind of kept a look out while her youngest son went around to steal the jewelry,' Martinez said.

'As she realized that nobody was there, and she got more confident, she started directing him to go back multiple times, and steal more and more jewelry.'

The identity of the parents is currently unknown, but authorities say that when they are caught, there will be charges.

Officer Keith Foster said the charge includes contributing to delinquency of a minor and a court will determine the fate of the children.

'The juvenile system tries to figure out now what's gonna be in the best interest of the kids, how can we help them make sure this type of stuff doesn't happen again, and whatever the adult system decides for the parents,' he stated.

The store asked for help on their official Facebook page: 'REWARD: $1000 for information leading to the arrest of suspects: Man, dark skin, believed to be the father, Woman, light skinned with baby in arms and two young boys.'

'The woman used her young children to steal jewelry from us. Help us identify them or find them and put an end to this child abuse. You will be rewarded,' it said.

Despite the incident Martinez is hopeful: 'We have a lot of pride in our stores, and what we do. So yes, it is a minor setback, but it's a challenge we know we'll overcome,' she said.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The family that steals together, stays together … locked up, however.
