DR. HUXTABLE BOWLS A GUTTER BALL

by Bob Walsh

On Tuesday Bill Cosby got the bad news from the court on his appeal of his sexual assault conviction. S O L.

Cosby's claim was that the judge improperly allowed five women other than the primary accuser to testify. The Superior Court said that the testimony established a "signature pattern" that made the testimony relevant and valid.

Cosby's lawyers also argued that he had a binding promise from a former prosecutor that he could never be prosecuted in the case and could therefore testify freely in the civil suit filed by Andrea Constand. That, and five or six other arguments, got no traction.
