Yesterday
evening (assuming the talking heads got it right) the Nevada Republican
Committee made a "referral" to the feds with more than 3,600 specified,
reasonably well documented cases of outright voter fraud. (I think the
word "referral" is incorrect in this use. I THINK that only government
entities can make honest to god referrals for prosecution.)
The
complaint asserts that the named people, or persons pretending to be
them, actually voted in Nevada even though they had moved or were
otherwise not eligible to vote. This information is supposed to have
been taken from legitimate public access data sources. Please note we
are not talking about "they were mailed ballots." We are talking about
actual votes made.
Now I
grant you that 3,600 isn't exactly a gazillion. It MAY, however, be
enough to convince a judge or the A.G. that there is at least the
APPEARANCE of significant irregularities, and very possibly out-right
voter fraud, taking place in Nevada. It isn't chump change. It appears
to be real. If it pans out it will only further inflame Donald Trump
and the hard-core Trumpists who really and sincerely believe he is the
target of a serious fraud attempt.
When
you combine this with the (recorded) bizarre actions of the vote count
staff people in Pennsylvania, who CHEERED when the Republican poll
watchers were kicked out of the vote count center (in violation of
federal law and a local court order), you can't help but wonder if maybe
Trump is right and "the system" is out to fuck him over yet again.
It
is hard to describe this as a visit from the fuck-up fairy. Even the
fuck-up fairy will not give you this level of FUBAR by accident.
This stinks people.
