Republican Senator Rick Scott has proposed invoking the 25th
Amendment to remove President Joe Biden from office amid the Afghanistan
crisis.
The Florida lawmaker called into question Biden's mental
competency in a tweet on Monday. 'After the disastrous events in
Afghanistan, we must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable
of discharging the duties of his office or has time come to exercise the
provisions of the 25th Amendment?' he wrote.
The 25th Amendment, which
has never been used, would require vice president Kamala Harris and
members of the president’s Cabinet to determine Biden is no longer fit
for office. Congress would then need to approve that process by a
two-thirds vote in both chambers and vice president Harris would become
president.
Scott's echoes recent statements from former President Donald
Trump, who has said Biden should step down after the Taliban took
control of Afghanistan following the withdrawal of US troops.

If he becomes completely disabled by a stroke this might maybe happen. Other than that, very very slim chance even if he becomes demonstrably unfit.
How many people have to die because of his incompetent decision making before he steps down? We are at the point of sheltering in place because our region which includes Galveston County is worse than ever before with COVID cases. Even the Chief Medical Officer of UTMB says, 'We are in dark times." Yet Team Biden continues to allow COVID infected people come across the border. Idiocy at it's finest.

Kamala doesn't WANT the job. As VP she can hide her incompetence behind Biden. If she were president her stupidity and ineptitude would be out there for all to see. (Even more so than it is now).
I am not sure I agree Dave. I think Kamala would LOVE to be the first BLACK FEMALE President. She wants her name and her face in the history books and a LOT of people would forgive her pretty much any level of incompetence in order to see her there. I don't think she gives a damn if her incompetence is on display as long as she gets the pension and the library and the graft. I could be wrong. It would be nice if I were wrong. I am not betting I am wrong.
