Palestinians were seen carrying bodies of the dead, including a baby, following the strike on the Maghazi refugee camp east of Deir al-Balah on Sunday.
The Christmas Eve bombardment by Israel is one of the deadliest since the war began. The 68 fatalities include at least 12 women and seven children, according to early hospital figures from Gaza officials.
Meanwhile, the number of Israeli soldiers killed in combat over the weekend rose to 15.
