Years ago VW got caught cheating on the tests for its
diesel cars. As part of their penalty they had to set up a corporation
that built a bunch of EV charging stations across the formerly great
state of California and agree to pimp electric cars.
Trouble
is those charging stations are apparently not particular reliable and
the company VW set up to make amends for their perfidy is not so
wonderful at maintaining those chargers.
Maybe
it's just me but it seems kind of like a recalcitrant teenager
compelled to clean up his/her/its room who throws everything into a pile
at the bottom of the closet or under the bed. They seem to go along
with the program, but........
Or maybe I am reading too much into the circumstances.
