Gavin Newsom presented his State-of-the-State message
today. Sort of. He didn't actually talk. He sent in a letter and a
highly produced (with musical background) video that ran 2 minutes and
28 seconds. He said nothing except that the sun rises out of his ass
every morning and that Donald Trump is evil. He didn't address the
homeless issue. He didn't address the fact that we have the highest
income tax in the country. He didn't address utility costs. He didn't
address the gasoline costs or the fact that gasoline is about to jump in
price as two large refineries will close next year, taking 18% of our
gas production with them. He didn't address the overall secrecy in
government operations. He didn't address his refusal to adequately fund
Proposition 36. He didn't address the legally questionable issues with
Proposition 50. He just made sure you know how wonderful he is
personally. Or at least how wonderful he thinks he is personally.
I wonder if any of the legacy media will address it.
