A very brave and very smart 7-year-old girl fought off a 25-year old man who tried to kidnap her from a Walmart store near Atlanta recently.
The young lady was out sick from school and with her mom at the store. Mom left her in the toy aisle for a few minutes while she went to score some groceries and Thomas Woods, 25, just walked up, grabbed the girl, picked her up, put his hand over her mouth and tried to carry her out of the store. She started screaming and kicking (I think from the video she might have got him in the nuts once) and raised such a fuss he dropped her and took off like a scalded cat. Fortunately the store has excellent surveillance not only inside but in the parking lot and the local constabulary nailed his butt in less than an hour.
Thomas if now in the slammer, being held without bail. He says that not only did he not do it but he wasn’t even there. Nobody seems to believe him. I wonder if he is so stupid he doesn’t know they have video in those places?
