Matt Dababneh is/was a member of the legislature of the formerly great state of California. The Democrap from L.A. announced that he will resign effective the end of this year following two accusations of sexual harassment and outright sexual assault.
Dababneh denies all the allegations and says he is leaving office in order to focus on clearing his name. He added that he just does not have the passion for public service that he once did.
He is accused, among other things, of pushing a female lobbyist into a hotel bathroom last year and then choking his chicken for her viewing pleasure. I guess she didn't dig it that much.
Allegedly other victims have gotten in touch with the first victims, and they may (or may not) come forward. One of the victims has suggested he donated the $1.1 million he has raised for his 2018 campaign to a rape crisis center.
The chicken choker first came to the legislature in a 2013 special election. He has, over the past several weeks, been a BIG supporter of the #MeToo campaign. I wonder if he is rethinking his position on that?
