Two potentially interesting things happened in the last 24 hours with regards to the massive bullshit going on in D.C.
On Wednesday various high-ranking Republican politicians sent a referral (request for action) to Jeff Sessions, the sometimes Attorney Gneeral, as long as it doesn't involve anything that says Russia on it, or anything else yucky or scary. This referral says essentially that Loretta Lynch, Hillary Clinton, Jim Comey and Andrew McCabe are clearly criminals and should be charged as such. What, if anything, Sessions will care about it and what, if anything, he will DO about it is highly questionable.
On Thursday morning the FBI IG, Michael Horowitz, issued his referral to the A. G. That report says flat out that Andrew McCabe lied like a big dog at least four times, three of those times under oath. The U. S. Attorney for D.C. has declined to comment.
My guess, for what my guess is worth, is that McCabe is in deep kimchi, though his retirement check will buy him lots of Twinkies and Ramen Noodles from the prison canteen. He won't starve. It is also possible that other people will be in legal danger assuming that McCabe rolls over on them like the giant size rat bastard he is.
