We Could Call This One Felony Stupid

On
September 3 a man walked into a Wells Fargo bank branch for some reason
or other. He was approached by a manager and asked to wear a mask in
accordance with bank policy. The customer got stupid and loud and
directed some racial epithets at the manager.
Later
that day the same man showed up in the parking lot and attempted to
thump the bank manager. It got physical but the customer split before
the local constabulary showed up.
The
cops collected some clothing from the scene (?) and went over eye
witness statements and surveillance footage. They ended up arresting
James Allen Jones Jr, a Correctional Officer at CMC San Luis Obispo. He
was arrested at work, where they could be reasonably certain he would
not be armed. The cops also searched his home. Jones is being charged
with a felony hate crime, making criminal threats and battery resulting
in SBI. HE is being held pending a $50,000 bail. I guess cops don't
get ROR in California.
Why
in the world would anybody with an IQ higher than a dog turd or Maxine
Waters do something so grossly stupid in an area where he KNEW they had
good quality surveillance cameras? Dude must have been SERIOUSLY pissed
to get that stupid that fast and stay there for so long.
