Yesterday
an Alameda County judge approved a legal action by a group of low
income, under performing students against the formerly great state of
California. The students are asserting (with significant justification)
that the combination of school lockdowns and lack of resources (i.e.
computers and internet access) put them at a huge disadvantage.
I
am not sure how I feel about the suit but it does not break my heart
when ANY group of students rails against the state for doing a crap job
of running schools.
