The God-Emperor of the formerly great state of
California, Gavin (God I Want To Be President) Newsom whipped out the
veto pen in an interesting fashion yesterday.
The
legislature passed to his desk a piece of legislation which would have
REQUIRED that judges consider whether or not a parent affirms their
child's gender identity when making custody and visitation decisions.
He vetoed it.
He also
vetoed a bill that would have required a human driver on-board
self-driving heavy trucks. In addition he vetoed a bill that would have
totally forbidden the prison system from sharing info with federal
authorities about illegal alien prisoners.
Since
all of these decisions go against his personal core beliefs the moves
are, IMHO, further attempts for him to pretend that he is somewhere in
the ballpark of a non-lunatic reasonable progressive.
