London Breed, the Alcalde de la pueblo de San Francisco,
has killed off the Office on Reparations. Not cut back. Dead. Right
between the eyes.
My own
suspicion is that this is not some flash of sanity but the realization
that S.F. is about $75 million in the hole for next year and the $4
million could be better spent elsewhere. Plus she never did promise to
SPEND it, merely to have it appropriated. Now it is being
unappropriated.
Life is as bitch. It's harder when you are broke. And woke. An stupid.
