Whitey won big over the Maxine Waters of Texas
Sheila Jackson Lee, a well-known liberal psychopath who
has been in congress for literally half her life, decided to try
something new and ran for mayor of Houston. She lost 65-35 to a fellow
Democrat who is at least not a psychotic and believes, among other
things, that having enough cops to do the job is probably a good thing.
She lost to the former Senator John Whitmire in a runoff.
Lee
has decided that she is now going to run for her old gig in congress
and has filed. She is being opposed by a former staffer of hers, Amanda
Edwards, who filed several months ago. The primary will be on March
5. Edwards has over $800,000 in her war chest while Lee has barely over
$200,00.
You might
remember that a while back a recording of Lee surfaced in which she
launched into an obscenity laced tirade against her staff, which kind of
shot down her kindly grandmother image.
Yet
another former Lee associate, Isaiah Martin, an aerospace consultant,
had also filed for the 18th district seat. However he pulled out after
Lee got trounced in the mayoral election and announced that he would
support her. Lee has a long history of bring home the bacon to her
district. That is not nothing.
