Hunter Biden was indicted today
on nine counts of tax fraud / evasion / whatever, including three
felonies. Will he get spanked? Probably. Will they throw him in the
slammer? Doubtful. If nothing else the Secret Service could
respectfully request some sort of alternative arrangement due to the
fact they are required to provide him protection which would be
impossible in any routine incarceration. I am unsure that a felony
conviction per se would bother him all that much as long as he didn't
actually have to go to prison.
It
is amusing to think he may roll over on Joe. Junkies have no loyalty
but I don't think he is so brain-burnt that he would not realize that
daddy can still protect him somewhat as long as he remains in office.
Once he is gone, especially if he is replaced by a non-Democrat, his ass
may be in deep doodoo.
Of course that doesn't mean that Joe wouldn't commute his sentence, "due to the security concerns" if for no other reason.

Hunter may be in more mortal danger than he wishes to admit. People who know too much don't usually do well in the US penal system.
