So, back in 2023 there were these three people who were roomies.  Two teenagers and a 44-year old guy.  Jacob Blain, 19, Willow Reynolds, 18, and Adam Reynolds, 44.

They had a beef over house rules.  The youngsters maced Reynolds, then stabbed him and beat him with a shovel.

The bad guys copped a plea.  The judge was less than impressed with the outcome.  Though they were allegedly remorseful in court it seemed that Blain really didn't give as rat's ass what was going on.  Judge Latchana jacked him up more than once to pay attention when he spoke to him.

The killers both got 20 to 100 years, with 291 days credit for time served.  The judge was bothered by the lenient sentence, but in the end accepted the plea deal.
