The
University of Pennsylvania announced today that they are doing right by
their female swim program. They are sending out apology letters to all
female swimmers who got ripped off by male swimmers pretending to be
female, are redoing the awards and reissuing them to the "correct"
swimmers and are moving the male athletes out of the female athletic
program.
The primary loser
in this move is Lia Thomas, a genetic male who has been swimming on the
women's swim team for about three years. He swam as a man before that,
and was rated around #60 statewide as a swimmer. He was rated #1 as a
woman's swimmer.
The primary winner is every female swimmer at the college level, plus Donald Trump, plus truth, justice and the American way.
EDITOR'S NOTE: It's a much bigger win for women's sports.
